The payment method your provided during registration will be automatically charged in accordance with the subscription plan you selected during registration. You can update your payment method at anytime.
When registering for a free-trial, you will be prompted to enter payment details. This information is required as a verification step, and no charges will be presented to your payment method until the conclusion of your free-trial period. If you cancel the service before the conclusion of your free-trial period, your payment method will not be charged.

You will be charged from the moment you subscribe, Unless HTC come back to my request for a refund, be very wary of signing up to this service. As far as i'm aware, there is no trial.
