If you use direct HTC account log in, you can enable 2-step verification by visiting the Login & Security tab on HTC account website (account.htcvive.com).
Go to the Recovery Method & 2-step Verification section, click on Activate under 2-step verification.
Follow the instruction to complete the process. After activation, you will need to provide both your log in credential AND a set of verification code sent to you each time you login.
If you want to change your code pereference going from time to time, follow the above steps to come to this page, and select Modify next to your current method.
**Please note login via social login cannot use the 2-step verification log-in service.
